What Women Really Want – NOT

(Any red-piller will have a good laugh at the punchline in last sentence.)

Young King Arthur was ambushed and imprisoned by the monarch of a neighboring kingdom. The monarch could have killed him but was moved by Arthur’s youth and ideals.

So, the monarch offered him his freedom, as long as he could answer a very difficult question. Arthur would have a year to figure out the answer and, if after a year, he still had no answer, he would be put to death.

The question?….What do women really want? Such a question would perplex even the most knowledgeable man, and to young Arthur, it seemed an impossible query. But, since it was better than death, he accepted the monarch’s proposition to have an answer by year’s end.

He returned to his kingdom and began to poll everyone: the princess, the priests, the wise men and even the court jester. He spoke with everyone, but no one could give him a satisfactory answer.

Many people advised him to consult the old witch, for only she would have the answer. But the price would be high; as the witch was famous throughout the kingdom for the exorbitant prices she charged.

The last day of the year arrived and Arthur had no choice but to talk to the witch. She agreed to answer the question, but he would have to agree to her price first.

The old witch wanted to marry Sir Lancelot, the most noble of the Knights of the Round Table and Arthur’s closest friend!

Young Arthur was horrified. She was hunchbacked and hideous, had only one tooth, smelled like sewage, made obscene noises, etc. He had never encountered such a repugnant creature in all his life.

He refused to force his friend to marry her and endure such a terrible burden; but Lancelot, learning of the proposal, spoke with Arthur. He said nothing was too big of a sacrifice compared to Arthur’s life and the preservation of the Round Table.

Hence, a wedding was proclaimed and the witch answered Arthur’s question thus:
What a woman really wants, she answered…is to be in charge of her own life.

Everyone in the kingdom instantly knew that the witch had uttered a great truth and that Arthur’s life would be spared.

And so it was, the neighboring monarch granted Arthur his freedom and Lancelot and the witch had a wonderful wedding.

The honeymoon hour approached and Lancelot, steeling himself for a horrific experience, entered the bedroom. But, what a sight awaited him. The most beautiful woman he had ever seen lay before him on the bed. The astounded Lancelot asked what had happened?

The beauty replied that since he had been so kind to her when she appeared as a witch, she would henceforth, be her horrible deformed self only half the time and the beautiful maiden the other half.

Which would he prefer? Beautiful during the day….or night?

Lancelot pondered the predicament. During the day, a beautiful woman to show off to his friends, but at night, in the privacy of his castle, an old witch? Or, would he prefer having a hideous witch during the day, but by night, a beautiful woman for him to enjoy wondrous intimate moments?

What would YOU do?

What Lancelot chose is below. BUT….make YOUR choice before you scroll down below. OKAY Here it is!
Noble Lancelot said that he would allow HER to make the choice herself.

Upon hearing this, she announced that she would be beautiful all the time because he had respected her enough to let her be in charge of her own life.

Now….what is the moral to this story?

The moral is…..
If you don’t let a woman have her own way….
Things are going to get ugly

ANO: I’ saw this story in my ‘travels”, did a search, and since it appears to be all over the internet, I can’t attribute the original author.

Media Heavyweights Join the Manosphere

Suzanne Venker,  Dr. Helen Smith, Christina Hoff Sommers – who have received extensive media exposure for their writings on typical ‘manosphere’ topics – have formed a website to continue the fight for sane gender relations and entitled it “Women for Men“.

They’ve also brought along some friends as contributors – specifically Michael GurianDr. Lionel Tiger, Stephen Baskerville, Erin Pizzey, Karen Woodall, and Dr. Shawn Smith.

You can read their bios here:

They’ve got a few posts up on their website now, and I’m optimistic there’ll be many more to come.

Please join me in welcoming them to the blogosphere!

Sex Grudges or the Importance of Determined Enthusiasm

In “Sex Grudges”, blogger “Sis” starts with bad feelings in the bedroom and then expands the post to discuss other matters of import before she gets to what I consider the “pure gold” of the post:

It is more important to keep trying than it is to give up after failures.

When you get hurt, it’s more important to forgive, forget, and try again than it is to defend yourself.

My husband cares more about my showing up in bed in a negligee wanting to have sex with him than he cares about my actual technique.

If I try to bake his favorite dessert, it is more important I tried than if I burnt it into a charred mess.

When I feel my soul dying in the marriage, it is more important to sit him down for a heart to heart or fight than it is to “selflessly” hold it in and turn cold.

It is more important that you are doing everything you can to eat right and look beautiful for him than it is that you actually lose the weight.

He wants to know you love him and trying and showing up repeatedly is the best way to prove that.

While a man can easily buy proficiency in cooking and related skills, there’s no price that one can put on heart-felt determined enthusiasm in a partner.

The US Welfare State at Work!

From the video:
An Austin welfare recipient tells Austin’s Morning News she gets a lot of welfare money and can stay home and smoke weed. Listen to her phone call earlier today on the show with Mark, Ed and Sam…

Lucy is 32 with three kids. She is on welfare just like her parents and admits her kids will do the same. She says taxpayers are the fools…she gets to lay up all day and smoke weed while you go to work

Pure Genius

Pure Genius

How do you know when you’ve got the right one? A comment from a post on Dalrock’s blog is pure genius:

My best friend in the US told me in the 60′s he was working at Boeing in Kansas. He thought he was dating the woman he wanted to marry, but he was nervous because his parents had a really bad divorce.

He asked a wise, old black man he worked with how he could tell if she was the right woman.

The wise old man told him, “It’s easy. Just disagree with her.”

He asked, “What do you mean?”

The wise old man said, “You young, horny guys will do anything you are told to keep the sex flowing. If she tells you to jump off a cliff or else get cut off, you jump. Disagree with her on something, and stick to it no matter how much she screams and threatens, and you will find out what marriage will be like, because in marriage sooner or later you MUST disagree with her on something. Pick something that is not even her business, like which shirt you are wearing, and refuse to change, and don’t give up no matter what she threatens.”

Three days later was the last time he ever saw her. Heh, heh.

He did not marry until well into the 80′s, and he was in his 50′s. Still married.

It would seem there’s still hope for me. 🙂
